Your Instructor
Shawn Findlater is an ASQ author who has worked in both the Medical Device and Aerospace Industry in the area of Supplier Quality visiting over 200+ supplier facilities. He obtained his Master's in Engineering Management and Bachelor's in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. In 2013, he was awarded the Modern Day Technology Leader Award by the Black Engineer of the Year Awards Organization in Washington D.C. He is an ISO 13485 Lead Auditor and holds certifications from ASQ as a Certified Quality Engineer, a Certified Software Quality Engineer, a Certified Supplier Quality Professional, and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has participated in the Job Analysis workshop and Exam Review workshop for the Certified Quality Engineer exam for ASQ and was a part of the new Certified Supplier Quality Professional exam creation process. His passion is to show other QE's how he reached all of these credentials and experience within a few years of entering the profession.
